Dale Billester
Bass
Dale first felt the pull to become a musician at the age of 14 when he was first introduced to the Beatles and Paul McCartney’s baselines. Soon after, Dale picked up a bass of his own, a Delray, picked up from a Thrifty Drug Store.
Slef-taught, playing by ear, and never slowing down to learn how to read notes, Dale grooves to all of the songs in the Diamonds catalogue he jams to each week.
Many years later, and many instruments after his first, Dale now plays with the Diamonds. 2026 marks Dale’s fifteenth year with the band which now feels more like a close-knit family to him.
When not on stage, Dale runs and own Lake County Lock and Safe for the last 30 years.
Tom Aiken
Keys
Tom has a Masters degree in keyboard performance from CSU Chico. Toured the West Coast and Nevada with the band, Great Scott. Played in numerous bands like Will Siegel Band, Johnny Tsunami and the Hurricanes, Mendocino College Big Band, and many other local Blues bands.
Tom has been Musical Director and Keyboards for many musicals and has been involved in many symphonies in the North Bay.
Tom is a retired school teacher of 30 years at Kelseyville High.
Scott Vonheim
Drums & Vocals
Scott started his love affair with music at an early age. He used to keep his mother's transistor radio underneath his pillow and fall asleep listening to all the cool songs of the day.
He joined the marching band in junior high, as well as the jazz band his last year of high school, when he taught himself how to play the drum set.
During college, Scott played with various local bands in and around Sonoma County, which also included a brief tour of some of the western states with a Top 40 band called Surge.
Dozens of bands and thousands of gigs later he is now a Diamond as of 2025.
